On the personal side, this book and its sequel were born through an incessant idea for a story that I just needed to get out.
I wanted to create a hero story of my own, but I wanted it to have elements I hadn’t seen in other works. Though there are themes that were inspired by the media of my upbringing such as Shonen Anime, DC, Marvel, Disney, and Star Wars; when I finished this story I realized it truly was something unique.
Through this process I was able to develop a connection with the characters in this story, and I hope you feel that connection as well.

Originally I was going to make this a three part series, as I wanted to all enough time for the reader to really fall in love with all of the complex characters involved. After a lot of thought, I felt it was best to provide a similar level of depth to each character but keep it all within the same book.
Though this is the sequel, a lot of the elements within this part of the story were the real contributors to my need to tell this story.
